Airport retail is the highest-footfall, highest-scrutiny kiosk environment in India. Terminal operators impose material certifications, fire norms, security clearances and night-only work windows that eliminate most fabricators before a drawing is reviewed.

Kaizeng builds inside this regime as routine: our national airport programme for Uber has delivered branded environments across 14 Indian airports, including a 5-day execution at Navi Mumbai International and a 7-day delivery in Kolkata. The duty-paid retail kiosk applies that same delivery system to airside and landside retail.

A typical 12 ft × 10 ft layout runs premium display perimeter on three sides, backlit shelving, lockable vitrines for high-value SKUs, with a billing and gift-wrap counter positioned for queue flow that never blocks the concourse line. Ceiling-height branded portal framing gives the unit presence against terminal sightlines.

Every layout is drawn against the terminal's passenger-flow and egress plan before submission.

Structure in powder-coated MS with modular panelised construction sized for terminal service-corridor access; facades in fire-rated laminates, back-painted glass and brushed SS trims; counters in solid surface with SS substructure. All materials carry the fire and smoke certifications terminal submissions require.

Units are fully prefabricated and dry-assembled at our Mumbai facility, then knocked down for airside movement, the method behind our compressed installation windows.

Electrical design follows the terminal's airside norms: certified cabling, dedicated DB with documented load schedule, and emergency-compliant illumination. Documentation packs, drawings, material certificates, method statements, team security lists, are prepared to the operator's submission format.

Installation teams are police-verified and badged for airside night work; debris-out and protection protocols follow terminal housekeeping rules.

The format adapts across travel retail categories, fragrance and beauty, confectionery and gifting, electronics and accessories, regional specialities. Options include duty-paid signage packages, currency-display totems, tester stations with hygiene points, and integrated stock rooms where the demise allows.

For multi-terminal brands, one approved design language is engineered once and re-dimensioned per terminal demise.

Terminal rent is charged from handover, not from opening day, every day of fit-out delay is paid-for space earning nothing in front of the country's highest-spending footfall. Prefabricated night-window installation compresses that gap to days.
