Uber needed a fully branded airport kiosk delivered at Navi Mumbai International Airport within an extremely compressed five-day window. The project had to move from design finalization and production to installation and brand asset execution inside a live airport environment, where operational sensitivity, security controls, and zero-disruption expectations made execution far less forgiving than a standard kiosk deployment.
The project became even more demanding because statutory permissions, security clearances, and airport approvals were received only at the final stages. That left virtually no buffer for delay, redesign, or rework. On top of that, the kiosk itself involved structural considerations that required precision in fabrication, installation sequencing, and on-site execution. The challenge was not just to install quickly, but to convert late-stage approvals into decisive, compliant, and error-free delivery before the airport opening deadline.

1. Fixed airport opening deadline
The airport was scheduled to open on 25 December, which meant the kiosk had to be fully installed, approved, and operational before opening day with no flexibility in schedule.
2. Last-moment approvals
Statutory permissions and security clearances were received at the final stage, leaving no room for redesign or timeline slippage.
3. Extreme time compression
The complete scope — from design finalization and production to installation and brand execution — had to be completed within just 5 days.
4. Structural and site complexity
The kiosk design required precise fabrication and carefully sequenced installation inside a live airport environment.

Kaizeng approached the NMIAL kiosk as a precision-led execution where time, approvals, fabrication quality, and site control had to move together. Because clearances came late, the project could not rely on slow iterations or fragmented coordination. It required fast decision-making, locked execution logic, and disciplined sequencing from production through installation.
To protect the timeline, all components were prefabricated off-site, which helped optimize time, maintain quality control, and reduce on-site uncertainty. Installation was then carried out inside the airport with strict adherence to security and safety protocols, supported by an experienced on-ground team focused on compliant, error-free execution. This integrated approach helped turn a high-risk five-day window into a successful delivery.
The project was completed within 5 days, delivering a fully branded Uber kiosk in time for the airport opening. The final outcome demonstrated Kaizeng’s ability to execute compact but structurally demanding airport formats under intense deadline pressure, while maintaining safety, compliance, finish quality, and brand consistency.
